Hi Renee,

I don’t know what the problem is here, but I would try the ‘basic default’
things first – Legacy File Maintenance, and a reboot of your computer.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy 8 starts very slow and odd windows show up

When I open Legacy from the task bar, about one minute later a window pops up
wanting me to manage font sizes of a report. When I close this window, another
minute or two pass and then an error window noting I do not have access to a
printer. When I close this window, the Legacy start box opens and more than two
minutes later, my files finally open.

The program is then fairly quick. When I select a report to print, the printer
setup the program hangs. I tried to delete the home folder Legacy 8 on my c:
drive so that I can reinstall, but it says the action cannot be completed
because there is a file open in another program.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Renee
