Renee, 1) Which build of Legacy is installed? You may need to download the latest update and install that.
2) During pre-release there was a problem re report fonts like this at one stage. I think it was worked around by deleting the main user settings file profile.dbm found at <User>/Documents/Legacy Family Tree/_AppData/usr/profile.dbm There's no problem deleting it when Legacy is closed. It's just recreated with the defaults when you restart Legacy. 3) Which version of Windows are you running and how much RAM does your computer have? Legacy 8 needs more resources than Legacy 7 did to run at a reasonable speed. Of course what "reasonable" is varies from person to person. 4) Legacy 8 should be installed into the Program Files area of your computer. You shouldn't delete that folder. You uninstall programs, not delete the program folder. Legacy 8 has all the user settings in your Documents folder. This folder cannot be changed. 5) If you really have messed up your installation by trying to delete the program folder AND reinstalling to the same place doesn't fix it, there is file in the Programs folder to help remove Legacy 8 from your computer so you can start again. It's called RemoveLegacy.exe Cathy At 12:33 PM 28/04/2014, you wrote: >When I open Legacy from the task bar, about one minute later a >window pops up wanting me to manage font sizes of a report.
