Jim,
This error has only started occurring for me after upgrading to V8, the
previous versions I've used never caused this error. Legacy is an excellent
program and the best I've found for genealogy recording and this is the only
major negative point that I have found so far with V8. No other program I have
ever used, genealogy use or otherwise, has had this problem, but then I may
just have been lucky!

I appreciate how difficult this type of error can be to isolate but I sincerely
hope that one of your programmers is looking for any possible causes as it's
very annoying.
On restarting, Legacy never resumes where it crashed but usually at an
individual I had been working on quite some time before and to compound the
error, there is no trail back to the individual being worked with when Legacy
crashed- very frustrating!

Geoff

Geoff,

Yes, Check/Repair is excellent preventive maintenance for a variety of run-time
errors. You don't have to wait for problems to appear to run Check and Repair.

and repair very frequently.
