Hi Norma, I don't think upgrading to Legacy 8 would help with this. I've now tested with Legacy 7.5 as I was using 8 and where I have two lines, the numbers are showing for both children. You appear to have found a bug. It's your more complex family that is producing the problem.
The only way to get a bug fixed is for it to be repeatable on a database that the programmers have - so you'll need to provide a database that illustrates the problem. You may be able to start with a deceased person and export their direct line ancestors plus siblings to a new Legacy file and still demonstrate your issue. I suggest you contact Brian at Support who handles bugs and ask him if you can send him your file and details of how to produce the problem.
