Thanks Carolyn, This is the first instance though where putting alternative words in the descendant narrative report options has not so far produced an acceptable result. There are other Legacy reports that simply state "xxx had a child" by default, which is what I would like to do. I can easily change the wording in the "marriage" to call it a relationship or other on a case by case basis and do this. My aim is to remove any reference to an unknown father and a "marriage",
My Descendant narrative report runs to well over 700 A4 pages. I have macros in Word that do a bit of customisation on a global basis and then create a new PDF, which is how I distribute it I dont want to have to remember to do other changes to individual entries every time I update a listing though. (very frequently) cheers Stan ------ Original Message ------ From: "CE WOOD" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: 1/10/2015 4:32:26 p.m. Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Descendant Narrative Wording Option >There is a father; he is unknown.
