Almost works like a charm Catby I had been hunting for the abitity to
get rid of "unknown" for the father looking in the report options. I
hadnt realised it was in the options /customise/3.11

The only outstanding issue following the adoption of your suggestion is
in the wording regarding the child. No matter what I put as the
alternative wording in the marriage report it appends "He had a
daughter" instead of "They had a daughter as it does with a standard
marriage or relationship. It should say either "Mary" had a daughter
or "She" had a daughter but most definitely not "He" I cannot find an
option to overide thisi ncorrect sentence as I can in an event or
Marriage description

Is this the first bug I have discovered in Legacy? Is there a solution
to this? Or is it something as obvious as the solution already provided
by Cathy?

Thanks again for the great help proving the advantages of this group

best regards Stan
