I've never had a problem before with the Legacy Update. Periodically, I do download the full set-up file - it takes about 40 minutes to download on a 64Kb ISDN dial-up line :-( I've got the Full Set-up for build 227 but it gives the same problem (corrupt legacy.exe file) as for the web update.


I'd take your advice and do a fresh installation, but I'm wary of ending up with a non-working copy of the program. I guess if I made a copy of the Legacy program folders, I should be safe enough. Besides, I can always revert to the copy of legacy on the laptop :-)
