Hallo Peter,
thanks for trying.

Thanks very much for posting this, works for me to "HelloWorld" level on
Linux / FC4 with some small changes:
a/ RCXTTY name not usb:
export RCXTTY=/dev/lego0 # not "usb"
Hm..."usb" works for me - however, I've already noticed from recent
postings to the list that on Linux apparently a variety of different
(obviously machine dependent) settings of the said env variable does
exist required to get leJOS running.
b/ scripts in $LEJOS_HOME needed execute permission
(cd $LEJOS_HOME/bin;chmod u+rx lejosdl lejosjc lejoslink)
Thanks for pointing that out - I'm going to amend the release building
process accordingly.
c/ lejosjc referred to some very old Java releases and wrongly named jar
file:
[...]
-javac -target 1.1 -source 1.2 -bootclasspath
"$LEJOS_HOME/lib/classes.jar$SEP$LEJOS_HOME/lib/rcxrcxcomm.jar$SEP${CLASSPATH:-.}"
"$@"
+javac -target 1.5 -source 1.5 -bootclasspath
"$LEJOS_HOME/lib/classes.jar$SEP$LEJOS_HOME/lib/pcrcxcomm.jar$SEP${CLASSPATH:-.}"
"$@"
As a matter of fact, these settings have been required in 2.1.0 -
possibly they are outdated now. I'll see to that.
Thanks and regards,
Matthias
