Umm, no, that is just some kind of absurd stereotype. There is nothing about being an OSX user that makes me less inclined to wrestle with unnecessary complexity to get something done. You might also note that you *are* talking to someone who has spent a longer time being a Gentoo and FreeBSD user than an OSX user. For at least the last 8 years I have been running either Gentoo or FreeBSD on my desktop machines, it's just that 6 years ago when I decided to switch my home platform to being a laptop I decided to try out OSX in part Linux/FreeBSD had spotty support for Laptop hardware. And if it really did come to needing to run Leo inside a virtual machine, I would just bite the bullet, recognize that Leo is simply not useful as a tool anymore, and stop using it entirely.
