I often cruise through tutorial videos with sound off, just watching what happens on screen and try to figure out what's going on myself. I don't like disturbing my co-workers with whatever-it-is-that-I'm-up-to, and reaching for headphones is a pain.
That aside, hearing the actual real voice of the producer is very welcome too.
