After some experimentation, it seems to me the "Basics of Leo" screencast maybe isn't useful enough. That is, the first drafts of it seem "flat" to me. Boring even. In fact, I would say that the recent UI improvements have rendered the screencast unnecessary. In particular, newbies no long need to be told how to insert and delete outline nodes now that the Insert and Delete keys do that when focus is in the outline pane. Similarly, editing in the body pane works pretty much exactly like it does in most other editors. Why belabor the obvious? I'm not sure of this conclusion, but at present I have no enthusiasm for this project. What do you all think?
