What is the point of taking an oath if you are not going to live up to
it. You either believe that the Constitution is the law of the land or
you do not. The Constitution does not state that Congress has the
authority to fund an education program or a healthcare program. The
10th Amendment as well as the 9th make it clear that the federal
government is restricted to only what the Constitution states it's
authorities are. If you are not willing to live up to the oath to
defend the Constitution which you would agree to should you be elected
then you will not receive any support from me. I believe in holding
elected office holders accountable. I believe that members of Congress
should live up to the oath they took to defend the constitution. It is
a matter of integrity as well as liberty. You are certainly no George
Mason.
