The people of the United States have experienced "experienced" leaders for over ninety years. If we are subjected to much more of such "experience" we will soon experience a police state, World War III and a one-world totalitarian government caused by "experienced" leaders such as Bush and his neocon henchmen and henchwoman. If Bush believed he could fulfill your scenario he would have debated Michael Badnarik. Personally, I think that the result of such an enjoyable fantasy would have been quite similar to the result of the debate at the Convention, where Badnarik came from third place and won.
