The plain and indisputable fact is that taxes are theft. A tariff is a tax. I only don't admit it because to do so would be to admit to an untruth. Admission of any untruth would bring a world-view crashing down.
1) Property is an unconstrained right. Meaning it is only limited by the equal rights of others. 2) To take something from someone without there permission is theft. That is part of the definition. What matters here is that express permission was not given. 3) Taxation is the involuntary transfer of property from one individual or group to another. It does not matter if something else is given in exchange. 4) A tariff is a tax placed upon good moving across a border. This is from that definition. Now show or prove why an imaginary line that exists only on a map, can give the right to a group, to take involuntarily, the property of an innocent person. And since you do not have that right to my or anyone else's property, nor do you own the land over which the goods are moving (if you do, then show the legal document that names you, Paul, the individual owner of the property), how can you claim the right to any fee, fine, tax or tariff. I say that you have never proved that tariffs are not a tax and by logical extension theft because it is the truth. You have never not once ever given any type of logical argument to say that tariffs are not theft by taxation. Yes I do see a pattern. People prove things to you, you don't like what they have proven, and you act like they are making it up, despite the logical proof that is given. And then you retort with you famous "it is because I say that it is." Almost all of what you say is that, no matter how you disguise it. BWS From: Paul <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Once again, you make false and baseless claims and then suggest they > are truthful and I'm lying. The indisputable fact is tariffs are not > theft or coercion or an initiation of force, and you can't admit it > because your whole warped world view would come crashing down. I've > proven a dozens and dozens and dozens of times that tariffs are not > theft and are not an initiation of force, yet you continue to say "Nuh > uh!!!" and ignore the truth. It's really becoming comical to see such > childishness in your argument. > > Now you'll falsely claim I didn't prove that tariffs aren't > theft, and you'll say that I'm the one ignoring the truth. You'll say > that what I'm saying violates libertarianism when in fact it is YOU who > is promoting the initiation of force in the form of theft and trespass. > > Then I'll correct you again, and it will start over.
