Libertarians want to remove ALL laws against consensual acts including
100% of all laws against drugs.
The reason is because such laws violate our rights, and history has
proven that prohibition causes far more harm than any possible damage
caused by the drugs themselves. It also shows that usage INCREASES
when such laws exist, and they create a black market for dangerous
criminals to fight over, in which innocent people are killed either by
tainted drugs, being shot down by the police or the criminals, and in
which respect for the law goes out the window.
