Not to mention the fact that the "war on drugs" also serves as an
excuse for governments to steal more of each individual's wealth at the
point of a gun in order to finance the enforcement drug laws and the
incarceration of drug "criminals". And I suspect that the vast majority
of even hard core crack and heroin addicts - not to mention pot smokers
and meth users - have never committed a violent crime. And even in the
majority of cases where violent crimes have been committed, I suspect
that it was the result of the consequences of the "war on drugs", not
the drugs themselves.
