To attack before someone attacks you is no different than arresting
gun owners for murders they MIGHT commit in the future.  It's most
certainly not defense.  The very definition of defense means you don't
attack unless attacked.  This is defense, and nothing else is.  It's
also not suicide since the end result is having less enemies, less
wars, and less unnecessary death.

To attack everytime someone postures or claims to be a danger to
America actually IS suicide.  To get involved in every dispute among
every nation on earth IS suicide.  To take sides in every dispute IS
suicide.  To stick our noses in the affairs of other nations IS suicide.

This is why the oath should be exactly as I wrote it.  So those I regard as 
non-libertarians wouldn't join the party.  Having the oath as I wrote it would 
make those I regard as non-libertarians uncomfortable and less willing to join 
the party and draw it away from consistent libertarian philosophy.
