I always thought it odd that FDR made a deal with Stalin. As difficult a time Stalin was giving to Hitler, Stalin needed US aid more than the US needed him.
But I think FDR was one of the most tyrannical idiots ever to occupy the White House. So maybe it shouldn't surprise me that he helped Stalin become the big winner of WW II.
