I am not sure that would really be productive, as the language I favor
is orthogonal to the 'committer mob' model. What I was hoping for is
very, very simple : a Jakarta project that hosts mini-projects, to allow
the productization of components useful for building server solutions in
Java. Same Jakarta rules. Same Jakarta charter.
If it's clear that the majority of the people who are going to be
involved from the get-go want another taglibs, then taglibs it should
be, I suppose.
I think I tried and tried and tried to get my point across, and I was
very unsuccessful.
I think that the view I have of this is different enough that I should
drop it from this discussion.
Maybe I should propose *that* for a vote :
