In general I think we should avoid the mouse when discussing this bug. Despite that, using the mouse only in the file picker window, but not in LibreOffice main window, is probably allowed because such usage doesn't make the document getting opened with a focus. For me: 1. Alt+f. I am not sure when the Alt+f key combination does work. I am not sure I didn't had times when that too didn't work. 2. u ("Recent Documents") 3. Using the up and down arrow keys to highlight the file. 4. Enter 5. The file gets opened. A19 has no focus. 6. Apply focus with the tab key.
