I am quite "anti-mouse;" my primary tool is keyboard: I use mouse only when I have to. The only reason I mentioned mouse was to: 1. Show there is a method besides keyboard to reach the saved file 2. Help mouse users to follow my train of thought > For me: > 1. Alt+f. I am not sure when the Alt+f key combination does work. I am not > sure I didn't had times when that too didn't work. > 2. u ("Recent Documents") > 3. Using the up and down arrow keys to highlight the file. > 4. Enter > 5. The file gets opened. A19 has no focus. > 6. Apply focus with the tab key. I am not clear on what you referring to. Please restate what you mean and I will be happy to address your question. > What next? After I apply focus by pressing the Tab key, the next step is to use the spreadsheet to do what I want to do, e.g. enter and delete data, pivot tables, formulas, etc. Please let me know if I have not answered your "what next" question. LO is one of my "Startup Applications" in LM. For clarity purposes, I have attached a screen shot of the LO page when I start my computer. Spreadsheet icons listed reflect spreadsheets used recently. I can open any of the spreadsheets by using the arrow key to highlight the icon and press enter. Mouse users can click on the icon to open the spreadsheet. By default, the spreadsheet I used last is highlighted. When I open a spreadsheet using "Recent Documents" method, the document does not have focus; however, if I use the "Open File" method (top left of the screen), the spreadsheet opens with the highlighted cell having focus. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
