--- Comment #25 from [email protected] --- (In reply to Crusader from comment #24) > Created attachment 206275 [details] > Results of actions to determine presence/absence of focus when file is opened > > (In reply to u34 from comment #23) > As an aside: at attachment 206250 (Screen shot of LO page when I start my computer.png) you had one icon highlighted. I will recheck my next statement, yet as far as I remember, when I start my computer, I have no icon highlighted. In case I remember correctly, can this be another, or related, bug? > The attached spreadsheet provides detailed answers to your questions. If I > am missing something, please let me know and I will be happy to experiment > further. > When reviewing comment #24, I wasn't as thorough as you were at attachment 206275 (Results of actions to determine presence/absence of focus when file is opened). In fact, I was very superficial. The reason is I was trying to follow the table you gave, but I couldn't fully understand the 2 rightmost columns. What do you mean by current and last session? Does the current session refers to the session after this start of the computer, and the last session refers to the next to current start of the computer? But I tend to agree with the following summary you wrote. > Summary: a file saved the last time it was opened, opens with focus; if the > file was not saved the last time it was opened, it opens without focus. > This is true irrespective of the method (Recent Documents/File Menu) and > tool (keyboard/mouse) used. I am putting attention to actions taken in the > previous session because they affect focus in the current session. Actions > take in current session will affect subsequent sessions. Key word: saving. > > Hopefully, this "experiment" will shed light towards a [permanent] solution. Indeed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
