Just out of interest, for those in the UK you can buy an 12v -> 240v 300W
Invertor from Maplin for �49.99 or 150W for �39.99 (This is a new product
which is not in the current catalogue).
This is probably a happy medium in the fact that you can use it with your
Lib and anything else you need 240v for ! (well you probably can't heat your
swimming pool with it !)
