Ok the pc carg is actually a pcmcia card that allows the use of a
compact flash in the pcmcia slot.. The gps I cam using through the
serial port on the docking station which I will have to find a way of
conertining the maps to a linux program..  The gps I bought a a place
called oshmans for 99 bucjs the day after thanksgiving and is a factory
referb...

Is this a PC card for the libretto, or an external hand held unit?
Could 
not find any such PC card at either www.oshmans.com (is that's right) or

www.ebay.com.

Couldn't find anything searching for gps3 or gps12, but found the Garmin
GPS 
III (discontinued) and GPS 12MAP handhelds at the www.garmin.com site.
The 
only reference about connecting to a PC, is where they indicate: "Simply

plug it into a PC and download an extra 1.44 MB of map data from
GARMIN's 
line of MapSource™ CD ROM's to give you instant detailed maps."

Is this what you're talking about, and not a PC card?
