AFAIK, the 8.4G limit is due to the maximum number of sectors, cylinders, and tracks on a CHS system. (I might mean LBA) But, if it can't see past 8.4G, how can it put the hibernation track after it? And if it can, why doesn't it use all the disk? Puzzling...
