A very long time ago I posted this link for large single li-ion cells availible in the US to anyone. Much higher capacity than the standard panasonic plus in my opinion better quality (I don't like panasonic batteries anyway:): http://www.maxxprod.com/mpi-7.htm There was some argument they wouldn't fit because they were thicker than the standard panasonic 18.3mm as opposed the 16mm. However I ordered some to try since the 1200 mAh pack I had for my 70CT was shot and I wanted a 2000 mAh pack in the standard size since I didn't like the way the 2400 mAH pack stuck out and the 1200 mAh had too short battery life. I installed them but never got around to testing it to see if it would work. Now I'm thinking of trying to make a 4000 mAh pack to replace 2400 mAh pack in my 100CT since it would really have long battery life with it. I think around 6 hours!! However I wonder whether the board will work with such a large capacity pack since 2400 mAh was the max size built. However it IS positive that the board out of a 1200 mAh pack works with 2000 mAh batteries which means toshiba added some ability for the board to adapt to differant size batteries:)!! (of course I'm not to sure exactly what all the board does- if it just identifies the size of the cells and distributes power for charging then just about any size would work) > >Had you acquired the cells online somewhere? I'm pretty sure it was me that advocated cutting the battery casing to fit the cells:). > >And just how might one pronounce your last name? (Always interested in >words, names, and etymology.) ...
