I thought I would weigh in here about overclocking the L100 to 266. I had a company called Portable Computer Enhancements to o'c my L100 to 266. Everything seemed to work at 266 except the Infrared port. So they suggested installing a switch that would allow me to switch between 200mhz and 266mhz.
How did you install the switch? Did you just run wires to those pads and add a switch? How did you get around the signal noise problems due to the longer runs of wire (I wouldn't have thought the impedance on those inputs would have been all that low)? Or is there some other trick (like the diode and holding down power trick for the L50) that lets you do the switch in another way?
