I think it's time to make a new release with all the corrections, improvements and updates that's been added since 1.3.5 was released. I believe the current dev version is stable and complete enough to make a new release and give some of the additions from the last year of development to our users. Also, we've had the qt4-gui in development a long time, it would be great to finally have it officially released.

So what do you say? Is it time for a release or does anyone have a good reason for waiting?

Assuming that it's time to make a release, who makes it?
I could do it if someone tells me how it's done. (I couldn't find any page in trac how to do it so it might be an idea to write one.)

Also, should the new release be version 1.3.6?
I know I've done some changes to the plugin API that are not be 100% backwards compatible, would that be reason enough to call it 1.4.0 instead?

If it's not time for a release, we should make a list of what must be fixed before we can release so we know what to aim for.
