We should not aim for three releas candidates. Instead aim for one rc
(possibly two) and only release rc X+1 if a serious enough bug is
found in rc X. Except translations, nothing should change between the
last rc and final release.

You need to have a key first. Install gnupg and create a key for
yourself (it is not that hard, google can help you). The script will
use the default key (i.e. your key) for signing.

All versions are handled the same way.
