Sounds fishy: the stuff worked with Skyline data structures previously
already.  I don't think there are all too many assumptions that can go
in there.

What's print.diff and print_old.diff ?

Are we talking about the same thing?  There is a single commit in
2.17.14 that significantly changes the behavior from 2.16 behavior.
This commit needs to get fixed.
