AudioMulch is one of the things that keeps me dozing.  As for the rest, it's mostly high multitrack recording stuff which I can partially find under Linux, but not at quite the same stage of refinement.

I don't know of a Linux sound equivalent of the Winodws
audiomulch.com, making waves (for sequencing) and sound forge trio. I
don't use these tools but a friend does, on Windows, and he uses them
to sample mp3 files, combine them with drum loops and live recording
and then mix the result and reburn into a new mp3 file.
