Could you explain the method by which you protected your CDs
I've never been successful in protecting the CDs themselves but I have used CD Keys similar to those used in commercial software to prevent unauthorised use of the content. Because I could not stop my client duplicating the discs I tried to restrict their use by supplying them with CD Keys only for the CDs they had been provided with, and then generate and release new CD Keys for a fee when requested.

The client wasn't too happy about it I must admit and after a fair amount of debate eventually removed the protection from the CDs.

The client himself demands such a protected CD from me
I would still recommend locking the content with a CD Key or activation system instead of trying to protect the disc itself. As this thread has discuss there are many possible routes to doing this but none of them are reliable enough to implement. If you were producing thousands of discs it would be a different matter - your replication plant can produce discs with protection systems like SafeDisc 2 on it - but for a quantity of 100 this is not an option.

I think we would all be interested in a reliable approach to this problem, so I hope you will keep us updated on your progress.
