Hi Michael,

I found that importing the font as bitmaps did help sometimes but not
always. It depended on the font I was importing. I also set the text member
to #fixed. Unfortunately, I think handwritten fonts always had that line.

If it's not a lot of text you could ask about the undocumented #outline of a
font. I would have to look into some old projects though to tell you how
that works. Maybe someone else on the list knows off the top of their head.
