Thanks to everyone who helped me on this project!
I have finally mangaed to reduce the game I was working on to 278 kb, which
is probably still on the big side, but is a big reduction from 450kb...
It's not easy to think small, when you're used to file sizes in exess of
50mb!

My jpeg was linked as an ole cast member. I won't be going that route any
more with this project (it was either that or the gif) but for future
reference - is there a way to link jpegs in shockwave? Do you do it through
a network-lingo command?

Anyhow, all this clarified most of my bewilderment over the use of Xtras in
shockwave.
I guess all of my bewilderment over everything will only be cured (or not)
when I'm dead :)
