That's what I actually did do... I was under the false impression that "Link
to external file" was linking as OLE, which it obviously isn't.
To John: Inserting as OLE (as I just found out) is located at the bottom of
the "Insert" menu (not import).

(I first tried preloadNetThing by itself, and then withimportFileInto, and
then with member().filename
Could I be specifying the filename incorrectly?
I tried just the name of the file first, and then "the moviePath"&the name
of the file, hoping that in shockwave it will read as a URL.
