Sorry if I confused you or anyone else here by saying that "me" is
not to be used with handlers not containing events like mouseDown
or such.
I thought I knew enough Lingo to not bother to learn anymore.
(not counting any interesting new commands in each upgrade)
Being an autodidact Lingo programmer I can only blame myself.
I will now for sure open my eyes and try to actually learn something
new every day.
Since I've never used the "me" for anything else but for identifying
the current sprite I do not know if it would have helped me in some
or all of my projects the past 6 years.
Sure I must have been inventing the wheel again at some points like
someone suggested but hey, that has been very fun!
It hurts to be wrong, but this time I'm glad since it surely will help
me getting more humble and understanding not to mention better
a programmer.
