I've done this using the Onstage CD XTRA: http://www.visiblelight.com/products/onstage/cd/ The Onstage CD XTRA embeds a special version of the SofPEG MPEG decoder right on the CD-ROM so no special players/decoders have to be installed by the end user. There are some licensing issues so you may want to check those costs before going this route.
