You launch two instances of Director. That's kind of pointless, though, because you can't copy cast members from one instance to the other, unless, as Sean points out, you close the first movie. To me, that's the same as not being able to copy from one instance to another. I think your best bet is to make a copy of the movie, name it something else, and delete the stuff you're not going to need. You can copy and paste score info, but it will be meaningless unless the casts are exactly the same. So save yourself some grief and just copy the whole movie.
