Thank you! It is possible to do it. The way to do is to select all the sprites in the score, right mouse click, copy sprites. Then I close this Director program. I then open a new Director program, choose file>new movie. Then Edit>Paste sprites. Voila! All the sprites are in the *exact position* as in the previous .dir movie and all the cast members, including scripts can be copied over. This is indeed a very good time -saving tip! It makes my work so much easier! I can now combine two or even more .dir files into a single score without rebuilding a new movie.
