It's not just Windows--you can run multiple instances of Director on the 
Mac, too.

It seems totally logical to me to have two instances open, and copy from 
one to the other. You don't have to remember frame number, sprite channels, 
cast member names, etc.

Unfortunately, I don't see how they could do it. When I try to copy a cast 
member from one instance to another, I get that message that it's open with 
write permission by another user.

Or am I missing something?
