I know it's a little pedantic of me, but we all need to agree on terminology - A "virtual LAN" or "VLAN" is IEEE term that describes an enhanced LAN technology that could perhaps more properly be called a "logical LAN". - A "guest LAN" is virtual HiperSocket LAN on z/VM. I only point it out because at some point the two phrases will undoubtedly come into conflict. If you're talking to a Network Person and started talking about "vlans" you will confuse them if you really mean guest LANs. (And the problem will be magnified if z/VM adds support for IEEE VLANs.)
