This took about 40 minutes. Ahhhhh! True Warm Fuzzies....the ability to know how far along the job is by simply glancing at the input tray. The use of online job editing and submission systems heralded the end of an era for the operations staff. They had to add "faith" to their array of skills. (In my days as an operator, that required that I trust the programmer....glad I got out of operations before the cartridges arrived on ...) That kind of gets me, right *here*. (sniff) But I'm always in awe of the endurance of the S/360 architecture. That you can attach such an old piece of equipment to a modern machine and still use it is a marvel.
