Second the motion, unless you have a mandate to share the authentication
database (and fair warning: this is *hard* to do right. Do NOT skip any
steps in the setup -- you'll regret it if you do).

VM:Secure is a far superior tool. (I wish CA would realize this and do a
z/OS interface to VM:Secure instead of fooling around with TopSecret,
IMHO, a far, far inferior product in function and UI).

Even if you do share the RACF database, that still doesn't get you LDAP
authentication. VM would use the internal RACF interfaces.
