Without running this into a long-running thread, I thought the original
response was a bit "short" as well; The gentleman could have asked for some
references if he wasn't satisfied with the response from a vendor. I also
got the feeling that the message beneath the message was "You're a vendor; I
don't believe you."
I'm associated with no computer vendor at all. I have no axe to grind, and
no money to make. My impression is that the gentleman owes an apology to
both David and Mark for his treatment of them.
This is just my opinion, within the context of the messages that were
publicly exchanged.
