So, you post a question to this mailing list, asking for information about people using MySQL on mainframe Linux. You get some answers, but feel compelled to reply to David in public "you appear to be a vendor, so I don't trust what you have to say." In what way is that constructive? You're entitled to think anyway you like, but the group norms of this mailing list tend towards being pretty polite to each other. Unless you've got a good reason to question someone's integrity in public, just don't, at least not here.
