Okay, I have no immediate purpose for this, just trialing it. (I may move a
CentOS 4.7 server to it.) I have 4 3390-3 assigned to it.

So, where do I go to get some sort of idea as to where and how much to allocate
to the various file systems?

Hi, Frank.

Yes, the "no automatic proposal" is normal. Just select the "Change"
option and tell the installer script how you want your disk(s)
partitioned and where to assign the mount points. Don't forget to
allocate a swap disk, as well.

Let us know if you run into any other problems.
