boot device containing the program table pointer.
Operator response: Check your SAN configuration and access rights.

I have plenty of experience with linux, but not z/VM. With that said one of
my linux guest ran out of space on my san volume, i freed up enough so
linux would be happy, but when i go to ipl the guest i get this error msg :



00: HCPLDI2816I Acquiring the machine loader from the processor controller.
00: HCPLDI2817I Load completed from the processor controller.
00: HCPLDI2817I Now starting the machine loader.
01: HCPGSP2630I The virtual machine is placed in CP mode due to a SIGP stop
and store status from CPU 00.
02: HCPGSP2630I The virtual machine is placed in CP mode due to a SIGP stop
and store status from CPU 00.
00: MLOEVL012I: Machine loader up and running (version v2.4.3).
00: MLOLOA009E: Error while reading Boot Record.
00: MLOLOA041E: Unable to find the component table pointer.
00: MLOEVL010E: IPL failed.


any idea on how to go about this ? any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.
