Sorry if I missed something, but what's the point to connect TNC2 to a
high speed Ethernet? Don't you have serial ports available?
As far as I know TNC2 supported up to 9600, right? So why bothering with
Ethernet.

Try to concentrate on the real problem: TNC10 or TNC100 (for 10Mb/s or 100Mb/s)
create group of people who would volunteer on digital part and another on
RF part, check legislation all over the world to see in what band can you
operate with such high speeds, ....
Dont loose time in academic debate. Start doing something concrete.
If you want to know everybodys oppinion lets make televoting. I will
put an web page where you can vote for USB or Ethernet or something else,
for the start,ok?

I have overlooked pages for Ethernet TNC4. The main problem I saw was that
it is proprietary device. If they decide to place schematics, source code
and other stuff on the web then it could be something, but I don't think
they will. So, what to do next?
