        From an experience I can say that *you don't*.

        All kinds of TQFP et.al. very dense pinout things
        where legs are entirely outwards from the chip are
        easy to solder (use FLUX, and more flux...), but
        PLCC et.al. which have J-shape legs going *under*
        the chip are a lot harder.  (even with flux..)

        On the same theme, *BGA things are impossible, unless
        you just "happen" to have an IR or a vapour-phase
        heater system at your disposal, plus soldering paste
        dispensers, plus ...
