Hi Benedict,
which distribution are you using? I know that there are problems
with RedHat 6, which seems to have broken includes. We checked
compiling on Debian potato, SuSE 6.1 and RedHat 5.2 before release,
on RH 6 it failed, but I do not know why. It seems that on RedHat
there is a /usr/include/netax25/ax25.h which autoconf detects but
doesn't contain the necessary declarations.
